Governance, Risk & Compliance (IST)

We’re a dedicated team within the IST Department at LUMS responsible for Data Governance, IST Policies, and collaborating with Auditors for IST Internal & External Audits observations.

Our Role:

• Build a base for analyzing data on dashboards for our stakeholders (such as Schools, departments, etc).  
• Providing support for data sharing, data retention, data security, and risk management residing within IST systems.
• Development and updating of IST policies & Procedures.
• Promoting best practices around data standardization.
• Coordination with internal and external auditors for the resolution of their audit observations and to ensure subsequent compliance to their recommendations.
